When I look in the mirror, I see Great Pyrenees fur with some features like a Golden Retriever. I have really cute ears and beautiful eyes. When I look in my soul, I see something like a Collie, a Shepherd, or a Poodle. I don't know if I am one of those dogs, but I am easy to train, food motivated, and eager to please in a way that most Great Pyrenees are not. I need a good amount of exercise and mental stimulation or I get a little stir crazy. My foster mom says I have the bark of a Pyrenees, but I don't know what she means by that.

Foster mom says she loves me a lot, but that it is time for me to go to my forever home. I dream about my forever family sometimes and wonder what they will be like. I know they will have at least one other big, rough and tumble dog. I like to play with my foster brother. We play pretty rough, grabbing each other's necks, wrestling each other to the floor, and running around the house and yard full speed, and generally creating a bit of hullabaloo. I would not be happy as an only dog.

That reminds me, I don't want a family with young children. I am goofy and silly and I don't want to hurt anyone. I might knock over a small child, but I don't have enough self control to stop the zoomies and frolicking once they start.

I have heard people ask my foster mom if I am good with cats. I don't really know what “cat” means. Is it a snack? Is it a toy? Is it something to chase? Is it something to snuggle with? Is it something I need to protect my family from? I have absolutely no idea! I might be able to learn, if you have enough patience to teach me about "cats".

I would like a family who takes me for long walks every single day. I like to walk fast most of the time. I like off road trails and walks around the neighborhood or in town. I have pretty good leash manners, but foster mom says I get a bit reactive when there are dogs or people or loud cars around. I don't think I am reactive. I am just doing my job.

I also want a family who has time for snuggles and pets. I like to snuggle on the couch, in my people's bed, pretty much anywhere. I like when my foster mom pets my head, scratches behind my ears, and says, “Gracer Eraser, you are such a good girl!”  Gracie is currently being fostered in Klamath Falls, OR.
