Meet Mr. Hitchens! He is a 95 pound, 7-8 year old Great Pyrenees who has a very sweet and calm demeanor. He gets along well with other dogs and can be playful at times. He has very good manners, is housebroken and prefers to spend time indoors with his humans. He sleeps quietly without being crated and does well with having free roam of the house. Mr. Hitchens knows several commands, including “sit,” “shake,” and “come.” True to the Pyrenees breed, he can be stubborn with the “come” command but is easily led if you lightly touch the back of his neck. He walks nicely on a loose leash and rides well in the car. Hitchens hopes to find a forever home where he can enjoy his days relaxing and spending time with his new family. Mr. Hitchens is being fostered in Portland, OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
