Meet the sweet and sassy Natalia! This adorable Pyr/Anatolian mix is getting big at about 7 months old. She would love to find an active, outdoorsy forever family to take her on hiking and camping adventures! She loves romping through the woods while on mushroom hunting adventures with her foster family and friends. She loves wading and playing in water as long as you don’t ask her to swim. Once she’s had playtime and walks/jogs to get her puppy energy out, she is a love bug that is very happy to be cuddled up next to you on the couch. She would do best in a home with older kids as she sometimes resource guards and is still learning mouthing/pawing should be saved for her dog friends.

Natalia can be very timid and shy around things she’s uncertain of, like meeting dogs when out on walks, but she is a fun and confident social butterfly when with friends. She needs a home with a playful dog to show her the ropes - one that won’t mind rough-housing with a large, spunky sister. She’s a funny girl with a big personality. She’s talkative but saves most her barks for communicating to her dog and human friends that they are being boring, and wouldn’t chasing her around the yard be so much more fun?

She is house and crate trained, likes cats, rides nicely in the car, and is working on her leash skills. Natalia has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where she isn’t left for long periods. She has some resource guarding of her toys and treats, mainly towards other dogs. She is food motivated and needs a consistent, loving home that will provide continuous, positive training to help her be her best self. Natalia is currently being fostered in Seattle, WA.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:

1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.

2) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day.

4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience.

5) Secure and visible fencing required.

6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly.

7) Please do NOT write us and ask if this puppy is available. If it is posted, it is available. However, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available.

Adoption Fee: $425

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date on vaccinations. 

Transport Fee: $350

Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport.

Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.
