Great Pyrenees (long coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Large Learn more about the Great Pyrenees.
Meet Granite! Granite was part of the large PNW rescue and came into rescue with his mother Ruby and brother Slate. DNA test is pending, but Granite is likely a Pyrenees possibly mixed with Maremma/Akbash. He’s the more adventurous one of the two and up for more mischief especially with the foster’s big dogs. His foster thinks he’s a ham! He also is affectionate and enjoys snuggles. He really wants to be let up on the couches and is learning how to be an inside dog. His first several weeks he lived on a farm and was exposed to goats and horses. Granite is definitely treat motivated which will help with positive reinforcement and is currently working on potty training. Granite is still very much a little puppy, so he’ll continue to need help with potty training, chewing, obedience, and crate training as he has not been in a crate. Granite’s DOB is approximately June 19th and he is currently in line to get his neuter scheduled. Slate is being fostered in the PNW and can be transported within OR-WA. Adopters in other Western states must provide their own transport.
