2022 Update:  Due to the increase of owner surrender requests each day, we may not be able to assist you in the traditional surrender process.  Due to the lack of availability of foster homes to meet this need, we have designed an Owner Surrender Assistance Program as an alternative.  Please click on the Owner Surrender Assistance Program link for information then use the email above to inquire.  Please also know that we are a volunteer based organization, so we will respond as quickly as we can.

We encourage people as much as possible to work with a behaviorist or trainer to correct or manage any behavioral challenges as well as consult with their vet when inquiring about rehoming.  We also understand there might be circumstances beyond your control making it necessary for you to seek rehoming your dog.  Please check our resources page to find resources for trainers, behaviorists, low cost vet clinics, food banks and other assistance.  If you need more intensive support please email and we will make all the efforts in order to preserve your relationship with your family member.
